Luckily I had my ddj-sb2 with me, so i plugged that in and used Serato DJ Intro (cant use regular serato with the sb2).CPU usage hovered around 50%, but it never pushed in the red. Yup, I adjusted the buffer to the highest.I've been constantly monitoring the cpu bar during my set.īefore my gig tonight, I tested using my pioneer ddj-sx2, and the cpu usage hovered around 40%.so I brought that in to my gig, plugged into the sound in the wall, and within 2 songs my serato was already skipping (it seemed to push it harder when I was plugged into a sound output for some reason) I feel like ive exhausted all options, any help or ideas would be much appreciated!!! My main controller having the issue is my ddj-sx2, but it's also happening with my sb2 (using serato intro), and on regular turntables with my serato box. When I open activity monitor during serato it usually hangs around 40%, and goes up high right before its about to skipįor reference I use a late 2009 macbook, but I've put it 8 gb ram and a fairly new 1TB SSD drive thats only half filled. went to serato website and tried all the things they recommended like library cleanup, raising buffer, etc. used turntables, and 3 different controllers.same problem
